What’s included in the $550 price?

The service includes high-pressure drain clearing, HD CCTV inspection of the accessible drain, labelled footage supplied as a digital copy, and an A4 Drain Diagnostic Report. Where relevant, the report includes a sketch plan and recommendations. Any repair or replacement work is quoted separately.

Do you charge extra after hours or on public holidays?

No. The clearing and diagnostic service is $550 including GST, including after hours, weekends and public holidays. There’s no call-out fee or extra surcharge. Any repair or replacement work is quoted separately.

Do you service homes and commercial properties?

Yes. We clear and inspect blocked drains at residential and commercial properties in Townsville, Ayr, Ingham and surrounding areas. Drain Savers Plus is fully insured. Our QBCC number is 1301501 and our ABN is 69 146 240 424.

Can you clear tree roots from a drain?

Where roots have entered the drain, we work to cut through and remove them back to the point of entry wherever possible. The camera inspection helps identify that entry point and whether further repair is needed.

How long will the service take?

It depends on the nature and severity of the blockage. Our focus is on clearing and cleaning the drain thoroughly, then inspecting it to understand any underlying issues.

Do I get a copy of the camera footage?

Yes. You receive a digital copy of the completed footage. It’s labelled and captioned to help you understand the findings and gives you a permanent record of your drain’s condition.

What if the drain needs to be repaired?

We’ll explain what we found, discuss the available repair or replacement options and provide separate pricing. That may mean a targeted repair, replacement of part of the drain, or simply monitoring its condition.
